PTFA Summer Fair
This year’s Summer Fair on Saturday 23rd June, proved a fantastic success yet again! The weather was glorious and the field was filled with happy parents and children alike.
Once again we had a whole array of stalls, from the traditional bouncy castles to hair braiding and, new to this year’s fair, the amazing festival face painting which was a massive hit.
Alongside old favourites such as hook a duck and splat the rat, the cricket nets were in action, and a penalty shootout and tennis tournament took place.
Many children ran their own stalls too, with rock painting, nail painting, homemade lemonade, a nerf gun stall and friendship bracelets all on offer. The children put in so much effort before and on the day to organise their own stalls and for many raise money for a chosen charity.
Science was popular with all four shows selling out and sparking much excitement.
No one went hungry thanks to a great assortment of food stalls from lovely salads to macaroni cheese and the Brockley Deli cooked up a storm too. If you still had room you could also indulge in strawberries and cream, delicious home made cakes, popcorn and ice cream!
Thank you to the PTFA, parents and staff for all your help organising such a fantastic day and to everyone who volunteered to run a stall. Without whose efforts the Summer Fair could not take place.
