Languages Taster Morning at Blackheath High School
To celebrate European Day of Languages on Thursday 26th September, eleven Year 5 girls attended a languages taster morning at Blackheath High School.
Together with children from other local schools, they had the opportunity to take part in taster sessions in four languages. This was followed by lunch and the chance to chat with other primary aged children. The morning included tasters of French, German, Spanish and Mandarin, delivered by the very welcoming Modern Languages team at Blackheath High. The girls participated with enthusiasm and had lots of fun improving their skills in the European languages as well trying out Mandarin, a new experience. It was a very successful morning, enjoyed by all.
