Girls Football Club V Rosemead

Girls Football Club hosted Rosemead for their first fixture of 2018 on Wednesday 17th January.

The girls had previously played Rosemead on the very first game of the season and fought their way to a 1-1 draw, so this match was a great indicator to see how much progress had been made.

The first half was a physical and intense affair with both teams having chances to take the lead. However, it was Blackheath Prep who were the more clinical side and found themselves 2-0 up at half time.

The second half was dominated by Blackheath. Their attacking play has hugely improved throughout the season and this was highlighted with the final score 5-1 to Blackheath.

Well done girls and keep up your good work!
