Year 6 WWII History Workshop

On Tuesday 26th March, Year 6 were visited by Eve Kugler, a child Holocaust survivor who was born in Germany and sent to live in America through the Kindertransport during WWII.

It was a really insightful afternoon and the children were very interested in her stories and pictures, which related so closely to what they have been learning about in their History lessons. Year 6 have been fascinated by our topic, Anne Frank this term and all that it has entailed and so Eve’s visit was the perfect chance to round it off! The children asked some very interesting questions at the end and Eve was very impressed with the knowledge, respect and maturity they showed.
