Boys PE Round-Up
Here is a round-up of the boys fixtures for this term.
Year 3 Boys
The boys in Year 3 have started out their first season of football in fine form.
A narrow loss in the semi-finals of the Ashdown House tournament set the tone and all the boys enjoyed fixtures against Dulwich Hamlet & Alleyn’s which were a great success.
After a closely fought afternoon’s football against Pointers the boys then went on to win the Alleyn’s tournament which was a fantastic end to their first half term.
Year 4 Boys
The Year 4 boys have had a fairly quiet half term but their performance against Alleyn’s showed just how much progress they have made.
Two draws and a loss were recorded by our three teams and considering all three teams lost their matches against the same opposition last year it is clear to see progress is being made.
The boys also enjoyed their visit to the Alleyn’s tournament where they battled to a fourth place finish.
Year 5 Boys
Year 5 have had a stellar start to their season as they have been to Alleyn’s twice and come back with two great results.
First was a league game which saw the A team secure a thrilling 5-4 victory in the last minute. The B’s also played two matches, losing one and winning one.
Next was the Alleyn’s tournament and this time the boys won every single game to ensure they lifted the trophy.
Year 6 Boys
Year 6 have had an inconsistent start to their season. It’s always hard coming back to play a league as the reigning champions with all teams desperate to get a result against them.
Both A & B teams were beaten at Alleyn’s before bouncing back with an impressive win over Rosemead.
The A team then played outstandingly to beat St David’s 5-1.
The Alleyn’s tournament proved one step too far to finish the half-term with some very tired boys looking forward to a break!
All our teams should be very proud of this achievements this half term, rest up and see you after the break!
