Girls Football Club

Girls Football Club had their first tournament of the season as they visited Alleyn’s on Wednesday 17th October.

The girls played some outstanding football right from the start they beat Dulwich Hamlet comfortably 3-0.

A 2-1 defeat to Rosemead followed as the team got a lesson in just how harsh a game football can be! If you don’t finish your chances it can cost you, and the girls certainly missed a lot in this game.

We have talked a lot about resilience and the most pleasing part of the day was how the girls responded to the defeat.

A hard fought 1-0 victory over JAPS and a resounding 5-0 win over Alleyn’s were to follow. This meant the girls finished top of the table with three wins out of four.

A fantastic result. Well done girls!
