Forest School Fun

This week, the children have been learning about safety when using real tools.

At Forest School they practised peeling carrots, wearing protective gloves ensuring they were peeling away from themselves, towards the tray on the floor. The peelings were then deposited into the compost heap for the worms to work their magic.

The children then had fun exploring the muddy bog, imagining which aquatic dinosaurs might be swimming below the surface. Some were brave enough to jump into the bog, squelching in the mud and learning how to climb out without losing a welly boot!
