The Nursery have certainly been busy this half term with lots of fun activities!
To link in with our space topic, we enjoyed a trip to the Royal Observatory in Greenwich on Tuesday 12th June, to see a space show. The children visited each planet in the Solar system, looking for the Big Bear. They were very excited to see a real piece of rock from Mars displayed in the museum and after the show, the children had a lovely sunny picnic in the walled garden.
Theatre tots joined us on Tuesday 3rd July to perform a space themed show “The Star That Lost Its Twinkle’, followed by an interactive workshop. The children helped Ruby Rabbit to find some space dust and moon rocks to make the star better, so it could shine brightly in space.
The sun came out for our annual Summer Fun Day. There was great excitement as the children watched the bouncy castle being blown up, ready to bounce on. To cool down, the children were treated to a visit from the ice-cream van and enjoyed splashing in the paddling pools.
