Girls PE Round-Up

Here is a round-up of the girls PE for this week.

The Year 6 girls travelled to JAPS Monday 20th November for a netball league match on a chilly afternoon. Blackheath Prep showed great resilience across all three matches and the scores do not tell the full story of how closely contested these matches were. The final scores were losses by A team and B teams of 1-5 and 2-5 respectively.  The B2 team played exceptionally well to emerge 2-0 victors of their match. A great effort by all of the girls – well done!

On Tuesday 21st November the Year 4 girls took on JAPS for their penultamate match of the term. Despite some fantastic efforts on court by Blackheath Prep, the A team were beaten 1-2, the B1’s lost 1-4 and our B2 team showed great fight to draw their game 1-1. Well played girls!

Year 3 girls took on Babington House in their second match of the term at home on Wednesday 22nd November. The girls have worked tremendously hard and are showing positive signs of things to come! The Dragons were very narrowly defeated 2-3, the Unicorns won their game 2-0 and the Phoenixes lost 1-3. I am very proud of the effort the girls are putting into their netball – well done!
