Year 4 Aztec Assembly
Year 4 presented their all-singing, all-dance-battling assembly to the school on Friday 19th January.
They told the fascinating story of Hernan Cortes’ meetings with the Aztecs and their ruler, Moctezuma II, as well as lots of interesting information about where the Aztecs came from, what they liked to eat and what their capital city, Tenochtitlan, was really like. They even taught the audience to count to ten in Aztec using a counting song to the tune of the Macarena!
The children all gave wonderful performances and all of the staff were very proud of the dedication and hard work they put in to get the assembly ready. Well done, Year 4!
